The length of Leashline depends on the length of the board. As a rule, the leash should be no more than 6 inches longer or shorter than the board’s length:

7 feet leash = 6.6 – 7.6 feet board length
8 feet leash = 7.6 – 8.6 feet board length
9 feet leash = 8.6 – 9.6 feet board length
